The legendary Tony Cohen is back! After a two year break from music Tony
is on fire and ready to work!
He is mixing a single for “Skipping Girl Vinegar” [formerly Mayfly].
Tony loved our Calrec console and the band loved Tony.
Carus and the True Believers have made a start on their new album with Greg
Arnold. Produced and engineered by David. Great songs, great band.
Mick Harvey has been working on his E.P for Bang Records in Spain featuring
a collaboration with Tex Perkins.
Mick has been busy this year with two film
sound tracks - “Deliver
Us From Evil” which won best doco at the L.A. Film Festival and Paul
Goldmans “Suburban Mayhem”featuring a band with Adalita, Spencer
P. Jones and Rowland Howard.
The Moovin' & Groovin' Orchestra are mixing their double CD project “Zoo
Music” with Ken Schroder producing and James Clark/Frank Cleary engineering.
Stuart Oliver has been producing an album for “Fats Wah Wah” making
good use of our grand piano, Hammond organ and Wurlitzer.
Loki Lockwood has put the finishing touches on “The Muddy Spurs” new
album. He ran the multi-track session on to our 2” 24 track machine
to get that squashy, warm analogue sound – it worked a treat.
David mixed an edgy, atmospheric instrumental album for Toby Burke of “Horse
Stories” fame.
Finally “The Sacred Cowboys” dropped in to do a couple of tracks
for an upcoming European release produced by Nick Rischbeith and engineered
by David.
All in all a full and varied couple of months.
